St. Charles Borromeo School coordinates quality care and supervision before and after school at the extended-care program. Morning extended-care starts as early as 7:00 am and after school starts as soon as school is dismissed through 6:00 pm. The goal of the Extended Care Program is to provide a quality before and after school program to parents that is accessible, convenient, safe, and affordable. These services are offered to the students who are enrolled at St. Charles Borromeo School.
The afterschool extended care schedule entails of checking in; prayer time; sharing time; outside play and a nutritious snack is offered. During prayer time students hear a short prayer with discussion following with a question and answer format. This enhances the students to explore their own understanding/prospect of the daily readings. After prayer time/discussion free time outside is offered followed by a healthy snack. Not only will your student get to spend time with friends, enjoying activities that are relevant to school-age interests, they’ll also be provided with an environment to complete their homework. Regular support with homework is offered.
