Education in Virtue

Education in Virtue is a formation of heart and mind. By rooting students in faith, growing their moral capacities, and equipping them through divine gifts, they’re shaped into free, virtuous individuals able to love, reason, persevere, and choose wisely in every part of life.

Classes engage with a new virtue each week by definitions, real-life “looks like/sounds like”, scriptures, prayers, and saint examples. Teachers encourage reflection on how students embody these virtues daily and highlight a student of the week who exemplifies the weekly virtue.

Academic Competitions

The Diocese of Sacramento hosts a series of academic competitions where students can challenge their minds, showcase their knowledge, and come together as a community to celebrate their faith and the joy of learning.

  • Diocesan Speech Contest
  • Religion Decathlon
  • Academic Decathlon
  • Mental Math Bowl
